Heidi K. Rettig, Principal
Heidi specializes in social media strategy, arts program design and evaluation for nonprofit arts organizations.
Her extensive training in community-level, qualitative research and outcomes-based evaluation methods help arts organizations enhance their programs using applied research. Previously, Rettig was a Content Program Officer for Arts and Culture at the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation. She has also worked as a Research Associate at Urban Institute in the Center on Nonprofits and Philanthropy and Edinburgh College of Art. Rettig has a B.A. from Georgetown University in Washington, DC and an M.S. in Social Anthropology from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. Rettig was chosen the 2007 Fellow for American Association of Museum ’s Committee on Audience Research and Evaluation. Heidi lives and works in Bend, Oregon and Northwest Montana.

Jeffrey P. Krehely, Associate
Jeff is a consultant to progressive nonprofit organizations and foundations, providing services related to survey design and research, quantitative and qualitative data analysis, organizational development and fundraising. Jeff has special expertise working with lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) organizations and foundations. In particular, he has extensive knowledge of the programs and capacities of local, state and national LGBT groups, as well as the funding programs and priorities of their largest institutional donors. Prior to consulting, Jeff was deputy director of the National Committee for Responsive Philanthropy, a research associate at the Urban Institute, and the assistant to the president of the Atlantic Philanthropies. He holds a BA in English from King's College (PA) and a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University. Jeff lives and works in Washington, DC.

Caroline Wingate, Associate
Wingate spent 21 years at The Miami Herald, retiring as Foreign Desk Chief. She now works as a consultant and regularly collaborates with Heidi Rettig & Associates on arts-related research and report writing. Wingate is a skilled writer and editor and has many years of experience translating complex concepts into simple, readable language for audiences of all ages. She has a B.A. from Judson College and lives in Birmingham, Alabama.

Anita M. Lauricella , Associate
Anita Lauricella is committed to applying business skills and analytical methods to serve the needs of community nonprofit organizations. Since 2001 she has headed her own consulting firm in Boston, Massachusetts. She provides Heidi Rettig and Associates with expertise in the areas of financial management, program development, coalition-building, and strategic planning. In addition to her consulting activities, Anita has served since 2002 as president of Boston's Fort Point Cultural Coalition and instrumental in the development of a half-million square foot mixed-use space in the Fort Point neighborhood, and a cultural community development corporation for the ongoing advancement of an arts district and the preservation of an artists neighborhood. Previously Anita served as the director of business development and planning for the New England Foundation for the Arts. Anita also has over ten years of experience in the public sector, developing policy initiatives for state and local governments on financial management and fiscal policy. Lauricella holds a Bachelor's degree in economics from Clark University and an MBA from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
